Be still and listen No more hiding in the dark from what you feel Be still Be still and listen No more hiding in the dark from what you feel I won't be hiding in the dark from what I feel We can't be hiding in the dark from what we feel No more hiding in the dark from what you feel No more hiding your heart from what is real No more hiding in the dark, oh, 'cause you chose to be a part of this No hiding in the dark from what you feel Over and under emotions like thunder then gone with the wind, oh, no room for regret though you'll never forget the bitter taste of your sins If you feel it inside you than you're still alive, let me hear you say "oh yeah" Always remember to never forget all of those places you have been No more hiding in the dark from what you feel No more hiding your heart from what is real No more hiding in the dark, oh, 'cause you chose to be a part of this No hiding in the dark from what you feel

Wearing nothing but skin and bones This burning need to flee won't leave me alone So as of now I keep on keepin' on This burning need to flee won't leave me Keep on keepin' on, yeah Keep on keepin' on, I want you to Keep on, keep on keepin' on Wearing nothing but silhouettes No regrets and you will surely find your way to the moon There's nothing there for you to expect Except a smile a wave and a whisper I will see you soon Keep on keepin' on, even after I'm gone 'Cause we both know two rights, well it never makes a wrong Keep on keepin' on, until that keepin's been kept And hope to see it soon 'cause I haven't seen it yet, no I said keep on, keep on keepin' on So finally you think you reached the stars Lassoed the moon and you claim the planet yours Oh my friend I think you might have misunderstood No prize to be won, just got to keep on Keep on keepin' on, even after I'm gone 'Cause we both know two rights well it never makes a wrong Keep on keepin' on, until that keepin's been kept And I hope to see it soon 'cause I haven't seen it yet, no I said keep on, keep on keepin' on

Let's see what we can do with what we have Forget the finer things in life Through the storms and under waves we still found time to dance If this is my one life I will live it right I'll take my chance Close your eyes and feel the noise, forever may be quick Now there's no light on inside of my head No I'm not blind but I see nothing So my friend will you dance? Will you take a chance? All those doors that were open, they have closed Never to open again And the words of the wise men that we quote Barely mean a thing And the answers to the questions we pose... Shout out if you're not losing sleep Shout out if you're doing alright No I'm not deaf but I hear nothing Be it heaven or hell Watch me dance you will All those doors that were open, they have closed Never to open again And the words of the wise men that we quote Barely mean a thing And the answers to the questions we pose Tell me, tell me, what's it gonna be? Through those doors that I opened, I will go All those words, so wise, you'll all quote And the answers to the questions we pose Tell me, tell me, what's it gonna be?

I can't sleep Up in the middle of the night My body's tired, oh, but my head is wired With too much to drink, oh, and not enough to smoke It leads me to think I'm at the butt of a joke I've got to move I've got to run Back to that place Where it'd all begun With all tables turned and all bridges burned And not a lesson learned No not a lesson learned And all these problems well they are mine I will search to find what may cause them all In a matter of time I soon will remind All these problems they are mine Do I see an end? Everyday I wake and I pretend Everything is grand And my toes, they are buried under sand And I know that I can leave but I don't wanna And I know no-one can see now but they're gonna But I just can't let me be Let me be, cannot let me be Well, have you ever met the devil? Well I can tell you, you are never too far gone In your heaven a little hell will rise Feeling defeated, what's done is done There's no more running No more wondering No more guessing where this good has gone Oh, with these bloodshot eyes I will soon realize That all these problems are mine. Another night, it brings another moon Well, I'm still awake How much can a man take? And then another day Yeah, brings another sun Well, I'm coming undone You got me coming undone And all these bottles, they are mine I will search to find why I need them so In the hours that pass The time that remains I feel I must ask... Well have you ever met the devil? Well I can tell that you are never too far gone In your heaven a little hell will rise Feeling defeated, what's done is done There's no more running No more wondering No more guessing where this good has gone With these bloodshot eyes I will soon realize That all these problems are mine.

about

"The Places You’ve Been are one of the few acoustic groups to hold my attention from the get-go. I must admit that a lot of females may mindlessly throw themselves at them, falling in love with their lyrics, which is sometimes why I hate groups of this style. The reason is actually because these dudes really have talent and believable personalities; they are singers, musicians, and songwriters. As stated previously, I don’t know much about these guys, or whether this project is for fun or long-term, but either way, I hope they continue."

An alternative acoustic rock trio from Asbury Park and Brick New Jersey, The Places You've Been is a band about diversity, personality, and individuality.
