Every time... Every time that I fall asleep... Every time... There's this reoccurring dream. Oh, I'm halfway there, got my eyes set right on the clouds until that dark, dark sky opens wide and lets that rain pour down. Maybe I'm afraid of what I may find behind my mind as the clouds collect, but all they do is block the shine. Every time...
So I'm making my way further into this dreamscape. I must say that I've seen better days. Well, the scene is set and the grass is tall, the hills they roll on and on and all those scarecrows are watching and laughing and telling me I am so, so wrong for being here.
Though the trail I set, oh it melts right in front of me, I avoid all that's straight ahead because I do not want to be free. No I don't want to go. Maybe I want to know. I want to see everything, oh yeah! So leave it up to me to take an eerie road and fall myself into a dream.
And now I feel my feet they are glued to the ground. The scarecrows leap from their posts and they start to surround. With nowhere to run and nowhere to go, within this dream it seems I am losing control.
